Goodman Games’ Goodie Awards started as a way to recognize Judges who have gone above and beyond when running games or who have put up some exceptional stats during Tournament play, but has grown to include so much more. The Goodie has also been given to members of the community who have done a great service to the world at large, or have gone that extra mile to help out the Goodman Games fan community. Basically, it’s a sign of doing good across the board — it’s in the name of the award, after all!
Past winners have been incredibly active Judges, artists and designers who have dazzled with their creativity, community volunteers bringing the fun of DCC to others, twitch personalities, third party publishers, hometown heroes — even the man behind the Wizard Van! Check out the replays of past Goodie Award Ceremonies for an idea of the full scope of the awards.
And this is where you come in: send us your nominations. If you know someone in your local community who deserves a spotlight, let us know about them. Or maybe you really love the work of a certain designer or artist who you feel has done standout work, or perhaps someone in your very game group is an unacknowledged community champion — tell us their story!
