This Week on Twitch – November 28 – December 4

We’re heading into the home stretch of the year! And we’ve got a handful of shows this week to get you going.

The week starts In the Studio and ends with Honor, and in the middle, we’ve got some Crawlin’, Picking, Pretending, and a trip to the Tower!

And don’t forget you can catch up on all our shows over on the Goodman Games YouTube channel as well!

Now let’s check out the details!

Schedule for the week of November 28

7:00 p.m. EST, Monday, November 28

In the Studio with Brad

Host: Bradley K McDevitt

If you’re not too busy shopping for the big day, why don’t you join Goodman Games staff artist Brad McDevitt for In the Studio with Brad for some artwork for the upcoming re-vamp and re-release of the Dark Tower adventure!

There will be creepy statues, undead, plus more OSR goodness! Monday—that’s tonight—from 7:00-9:00 p.m. EST.

9:00 p.m. EST, Monday, November 28

Keep Crawlin’ with Mike and Brendan

Hosts: Brendan LaSalle and Michael Curtis

Ah, the persistent question plaguing the judge at the start of a campaign: “Where does all the action take place?” The answer to that question sets the tone of every future adventure. But with so many options available, what’s the poor game master to do? Luckily, Mike and Brendan manifest with godlike majesty to provide some answers.

This week’s Keep Crawlin’ with Mike and Brendan sees the Basement Buddies delving into the subject of setting design. What do you do when starting out? What are the pros and cons of using an established fantasy world versus a self-made one? How do I adapt a fictional world I love for use in RPG games? The minds behind the Shudder Mountains, Xcrawl, DCC Lankhmar, and more have decades of world-building experience and plan to share their secrets with you.

Click on over to the official Goodman Games Twitch channel on Monday, November 28 at 9:00 p.m. EST for an hour of setting design advice and the usual pop culture references you’ve come to expect with Mike and Brendan. Whether you’re a fan of Áereth, the Forgotten Realms, Hyboria, or Nehwon, the boys are bound to come up with some tips you can use when planning your next DCC campaign.

6:00 p.m. EST, Tuesday, November 29

Picks from the Print Mine

Hosts: Dieter Zimmerman and Jon Wilson

The relentless Emogoth the Danged keeps Dieter and Jon on their toes discussing the latest goodies they’ve hauled up from the Print Mine for the Goodman Games online store!

9:00 p.m. EST, Wednesday, November 30

Pretenders to the Throne

Hosts: Clay Liford and friends

DCC Pretenders continues as the PCs, drafted by the Benevolent Imperial Expeditionary Service for their rare genetic gifts, are assigned a high-profile mission by the clandestine “Bureau of Foreign Survey.”

Assigned to an interstellar scout ship, they scour the uncharted Outer Reaches for the fabled “Lost Colony of Terra,” now 40,000 years missing. What first appeared to be a political stunt for the “morale of the Imperial Commonwealth” is soon revealed to have more dubious ends and far-reaching ramifications.

For the Imperium, and perhaps the entire Galaxy.

8:30 p.m. EST, Thursday, December 1

Dark Tower Live Play

Hosts: Twenty Sides to Every Story

Alex and the crew from Twenty Sides to Every Story are back with a new real-play series!

Through the ages and across planes the war between the gods Mitra and Set found itself stalemated time and again. In a cunning gambit spanning decades, Set has arrayed his Chosen Sons in the Lostlands to erode the birthplace and poison the hearts of Mitra’s faithful. Bending the fates with what power he can spare, Mitra leads five adventurers towards Set’s Dark Tower testing if they have the might and mettle to serve as his champions leading the Lions of Mitra to a conclusive battle against the Sons of Set.

Twenty Sides to Every Story presents an actual play of Original Adventures Reincarnated #7: Dark Tower and The Chosen Sons of Set by Goodman Games.

The Dark Tower Live Play show will be airing on the Twenty Sides to Every Story Twitch Channel, this Thursday, December 1, at 8:30 p.m.

6:30 p.m. EST, Friday, December 2

GrapeApe’s Reaver Express

Hosts: Judge GrapeApe and friends

Tune in this Friday night on the Goodman Games Twitch channel for the best Dungeon Crawl Classics liveplay action!

The Order of the Chicken has made their way back to Falun and then into the swamps to the North. Heading to a hideout rumored to be the last known location of the mysterious Rita Razenham, the group was beckoned into service by the Fog Beast. Tasked with removing the curse that stains the land they encountered an old hag who offered a small amount of assistance. After a near-death encounter with a Murderbeak, they discovered a ruined temple.

Will they be able to cleanse the curse and Escape the Shrouded Fen? Tune in to find out, in an episode I like to call… Demon’s Blood!

6:30 p.m. EST, Sunday, December 4

Honor Among Thieves

Hosts: Gaming Honors

Join Honor Among Thieves on Sunday, December 4th, at 6:30 p.m. EST! We’ll get caught up on the latest adventures on the Weird Frontier in “So Then What Happened?”, explore the DCC Fumble table with Brooz, Hack (and now Headlock!) when we check in with the World’s Unluckiest Warriors, and, of course, find out who has what it takes to dare a funnel in “So You Think You’re a Peasant?”

All this and more, only on the Goodman Games Official Twitch channel!
