Here at Goodman Games, we’ve made no secret of our love of Appendix N and how it has influenced our product. And that’s just one of the reasons why we love the Appendix N Book Club.
The Appendix N Book Club is a podcast about the books and authors of Appendix N, how they influenced the world of role-playing games, and their overall impact on the world around us. Every episode is a fantastic dive into the depths of these authors and what they have meant not just to our favorite hobby, but also to the world of fiction and society.
And we are very happy to help them celebrate their 100th episode!
We’ll let them describe the landmark episode:
Martian Kat joins us to discuss Edgar Rice Burroughs’s “Land of Terror”, Star Wars, reading something you wouldn’t normally read on your own, effective uses of satire, bearded women, evolving perceptions of Black Americans in the 1940s, the global war on terror, one-shot adventures in comics, escaping captivity in RPGs, the Savage Worlds Adventure Deck, humanizing the “other”, Twitch streaming, and much more!
Congratulations to everyone over at the Appendix N Book Club! We’re thrilled to have listened to the first 100 episodes, and can’t wait to hear what you do with the second centennial set!
