Once more, one of the best days of the year is fast approaching: Free RPG Day! Whether you are a member of our Road Crew, a fan in search of free adventures, or a poster artist, Free RPG Day is for you!
Every year we support Free RPG Day in a multitude of ways, and 2019 is no exception. This year’s event will happen on Saturday, June 15th, which is less than two weeks away. No matter how you approach the day, you can benefit. Here’s how:
Free Stuff!
Of course that’s how we’re going to lead off. You can get an amazing selection of free RPG material—kinda like the day’s name suggests—from your FLGS, including the new Dungeon Crawl Classics Quick Start Rules! We previously posted our announcement for this year’s release, which includes a brand-new adventure inside the book.
Road Crew Benefits
If you are a member of our Road Crew, the first thing that you need to do is schedule a game! Free RPG Day is the ideal time to get out and promote DCC RPG, as stores will have fans on hand just to discover new games. And if you run a game on Free RPG Day 2019, you qualify to get a Free DCC Penny Tray! Perfect for holding dice or whatever suits your fancy.
Poster Design Contest
We’ve got our Poster Design Contest running right now, and what better event to create a poster for than Free RPG Day? Put together your best effort and submit it to us for a chance to win free original artwork by Brad McDevitt!
Goodman Games is the co-originator of Free RPG Day, so it holds a special place in our heart. We want to see you out at your local shop supporting and promoting the hobby like never before. Role-playing games are amazing, and the more we can share that experience with others, the better.
