2019 Convention Module Announced!

Welcome to The Inn at Five Points.

Every year we publish an adventure that’s available exclusively on the con circuit. Something you can only buy at cons where we have a booth. In previous years we have published Tower of the Black Pearl and Blood for the Serpent King in new editions that you could only pick up at shows.

In 2019 we’re upping the stakes a little. This year our con module is an all-new adventure by the master convention-goer himself, Brendan LaSalle. The Inn at Five Points is a great Dungeon Crawl Classics adventure for level 2 characters, playable in one session, making it the perfect adventure to run next time you’re at a con!

Here’s the blurb from the back cover:

The Inn at Five Points is a local landmark – set deep in farm country between five population centers, the Inn is the only public house within several days ride in any direction. The Inn has a reputation as a spot for decent food, good drink, and a good night’s rest—and it has a special reputation for Neutrality. Often folks meet there to negotiate, make peace, and work out long-standing differences.

The amenable neutrality of The Inn attracted the attention of The Order of the Crawling Lord, who represents the most extreme and repugnant ideals of Law: oppression, slavery, and a merciless survival-of-the-fittest ethic that intentionally instills deep self-loathing in its members, forcing them to meditate every day on how inadequate and malformed they are when compared with the Eternal. And now they target The Inn.

Can a rag-tag group of adventurers possibly prevent the ascension of the vile Crawling Lord? Will they ever see the light of day again? And what exactly makes Arlo and Quendy’s rosemary bread so addictive?

All this and more shall be answered at The Inn at Five Points.

Want to know some more? How about this quote from author Brendan LaSalle:

“This is one of my favorite convention adventures. I ran it as my Sunday morning game for years before I thought of actually writing it down. It’s an adventure you can run in a four-hour slot with a beginning, a middle, and an end. I hope folks have as much fun playing it as I did running it.”

Need we say more? How about a reminder that The Inn at Five Points will ONLY be available at conventions where Goodman Games is setting up a booth. It will debut this Spring and then show up at all the subsequent shows throughout the year. Be sure to check out Convention Schedule page to get the lowdown on where we’ll be appearing throughout 2019!
