They say a picture is worth 1000 words.
That is the map for the upcoming DCC Lankhmar Boxed Set, and isn’t it a thing of beauty? The map is by Doug Kovacs, one of the stalwarts of Dungeon Crawl Classics, and is hand-painted in keeping with our approach here at Goodman Games. It will be printed on a poster that’s just under three feet tall, so that everyone will be able to appreciate the detail.
Yes, we said that that map would be just under three feet tall. Go big!
Each of those detailed streets that you see in the image above has individually painted buildings. For example, here’s a random excerpt:
Much of the interior content for the DCC Lankhmar Boxed Set has already been released in PDF format to Kickstarter backers. And if you are one of those Kickstarter backers, we hope you spotted all the typos, allowing us to print it in a state of utter perfection! Please stomp the typos by submitting any typos on our Stomp The Typo tool! We need comments back by October 1st. After that we plan to start wrapping things up for printing
