Every year, a group of independent writers an artists self-publishes the Gongfarmer’s Almanac (GFA). This is a community zine where the final product is completely created and published by volunteers. Gen Con insiders know that the GFA is a “secret release” every year at Gen Con – if you ask for it at the Goodman Games booth, you can get it for free, but you have to know to ask! The zine editions are only available for free at Gen Con. But after the con, the community publishes a compilation which is available for sale at cost (yes, at cost!) to maintain the community-service aspect. (You can find previous years’ issues in the Goodman Games online store: 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015.)

Every Gen Con the Gongfarmer’s Local 282 gives away free copies of the GFA to any and all comers. And we want YOU to join our ranks.
Whether you are a player or a judge, we know that you have what it takes to contribute. Already you’ve proved that you’re creative, resourceful, and maybe just a little bit crazy — you play Dungeon Crawl Classics, right?
