The DCC Bookshelf

Dungeon Crawl Classics has seen a few printings now. And it’s also seen several different editions. When you line them up, DCC makes a good looking bookshelf!

We took a picture of the books together, and even included a guide to the various editions so that you can check to see what you have and what you don’t have. Check it out!

How many of these books do you have? Did you know that all of them were out there? Do you have the Spanish Edition? There’s a lot of DCC out there. It’s important to note: The difference in these books is the art. The rules and content haven’t changed, and it’s not going to. DCC is a book that doesn’t need fixing. The art is there for folks who like variant artwork and the collecting aspect.

There are also some subtle differences between printings. Look at the image of the four hardcovers lined up:

You can see that there are slight differences between each of these volumes. That’s because different printers were involved with each printing, and the slight change in paper weights and stock creates variations in the size of the books.

The biggest thing that we take out of all these covers is this: You guys really do like us. We’ve had the luxury of going through multiple printings with multiple covers. How fantastic is that? So, thank you. From the bottom of our heart, thank you for letting us share our love of role-playing and the fun that is DCC with you. And our love of fantasy art that we can share through multiple covers.

Who knows what our next cover will be? Only time will tell. We just know that our bookshelf might need to grow.
