At our Spawn of Cyclops Con convention, Goodman Games debuted a virtual space we called The Citadel of the Cyclops. It was an interactive area where your avatar wandered around a digital world and met up with other fans, talked to artists and vendors, and even played a game or two. It was a huge hit, and something the fans talked about well after the con ended.
And we’re not done. Once again, we’ve set up a special virtual area that serves as not only a meeting place for fans but also as a Dealer’s Hall for the vendors who have set up to be a part of the celebration—and maybe a secret or two hidden about. This time around we’ve created the village of Dundraville and The Inn of the Slumbering Drake—and this time it’s open to everyone!
That’s right, anyone can visit Dundraville and The Inn of the Slumbering Drake just by logging in! No memberships. No badges. Nothing but internet access and the desire to be a part of something cool.
We’ve already posted a sneak peek of the Dealer’s Hall and the inn, but we wanted to let everyone know that we’ll be posting the link to get you—and everyone—into the virtual village and meeting place tomorrow!
