Back DCC: Dark Trails on Kickstarter!

Are you ready pardner? There’s somethin’ strange coming down the trail. Something…dark.

The long-anticipated Dark Trails Kickstarter has started! Stiff Whiskers Press twisted take on the Western genre for the Dungeon Crawl Classics role-playing system is off to a great start, and looks to grow only stronger.
As a player, you’ll find a wealth of material in the Dark Trails book that allows you to assume the role of one of 11 unique classes, with descriptive names like: the Calavera, the Bedlamite, and the Sin-Eater. As a Judge, you’ll find over 400 pages of material giving you a wealth of resources for designing and running fantastic adventures set against the haunted landscapes of an unforgiving Weird West.

Author Dave Baity has been working on this project for years, and it is finally ready to come off the trail. This is a fully-realized and developed game, time tested and approved. And Stiff Whiskers has even tapped into the DCC talent pool for a fantastic cover by Sanjulian.

Dark Trails contains a modified version of the DCC ruleset within its pages to make it the first 3rd party published work to include the necessary rules for play. You don’t need anything other than the Dark Trails RPG to play the game aside from some dice, paper, and pencils.

The campaign has hit the ground running and already cleared a whole bevy of stretch goals. There are still a few others to throw in the pot before the hand is dealt, though, so don’t delay in getting your copy now! Heck, you might even want to opt for the fancy leatherette cover that will sit right there on your belt next to the holster.

So strap on your shooting irons and get ready to slap leather—in a wonderfully weird way.

Go support the Dark Trails Kickstarter today!
