The first major events of the 2018 season are in the rear view mirror, and we’re already missing them! Let’s start off with a recap of those events, and at the bottom we’ll share some images for all to enjoy!
On Thursday, February 22nd, Brendan LaSalle brought the Dungeon Crawl Classics to Dicehead Games in Cleveland, TN! New friends were made, old friendships were renewed, and a whole lot of farmers and moneylenders got blown off a certain invisible bridge—so basically a perfect evening. Thanks very much to Shane Grubb from Dicehead for hosting this fantastic night of gaming and fun.
In Marlborough, MA, Goodman brought the love to TotalCon, and TotalCon gave it back in equal force! Everyone at the show was amazing, sharing fun, rolling dice, and generally being a Goodman group! Fans flung funky dice with Michael Curtis and enjoyed some grog with our very own pirate, Dieter! A big thanks goes out to TotalCon and their staff for making the show a pleasure at every turn. We can’t wait to see these folks again!
Meanwhile, down in Chattanooga, TN, the ConNooga crowd kept the Goodman gang on their toes with wit, wisdom, and wonders! Lots of dice were rolled and laughs shared. We had a fantastic time bringing DCC magic to the masses—all ages, all levels of skill, and characters from every anime and video game you ever heard of got to try the game with the funky dice. And we even had a surprise appearance by DCC artist extraordinaire, Peter Mullen! Huge thanks to all the organizers and volunteers that made this year’s event possible!
Finally, Judge Brendan concluded the weekend with a stop-in at Epikos in Hixson, TN! What better way to cap off Goodman Games’ Tennessee Dice-By than a rock and roll DCC throw down? A good time was had by all—well, except for the hideous wyrm-beast, which wound up impaled on a 100′ tall spike and eaten by vultures. But everyone else had fun! Thanks very much to the Epikos staff making the final stop of the TN tour terrific!
In all, it was a weekend to remember. And this is just the first stop on our massive tour for 2018!
