DCC: The Abandoned Silver Mine

The Order of Eternal Dungeon Crawl Classics presents…

🤕 Someone has stolen Silverton’s latest shipment of ore to Archbridge to the north! And this isn’t the first such theft. But it is the first time a survivor has returned to tell more.

👁️ A guard from the caravan with a black eye and cuts tells that the raiders were short, skulking figures like men, but grunting and chirruping in some foreign tongue and “unaccustomed to a bathing, let alone seeing themselves in a glass, they’s more likely a crawled outta the ground than into it…” The attack came from the northeast of Silverton.

⛏️ The only thing out there is an abandoned silver mine with a bad reputation. And now there’s a pretty reward for their heads and the return of any ore crates. Silverton lives or dies by the silver it ships. Will you brave the old mine for reward, plunder, or glory?

A level 0️⃣–1️⃣ adventure, adapted from DCC #1: Idylls of the Rat King. This is the 1st episode from that module.

👥 Seeking 3–6 players.

Beginners are welcome, as are experienced players. Returning players will run a single 1st level characters. New players can either run a squad of 4 level 0 characters or bring a level 1 legacy PC. PCs will be marshaled and additional information shared in the thread attached to this posting prior to the game.

#️⃣ Sessions: 1+, open table, low commitment

This is the 3rd session of a campaign tour following the order of DCC modules. It runs as an open table with preference given to returning players. You do not need to have played in the earlier sessions to join & fill open seats. Each session has been adapted to be played independently. You do not need to commit to more than a single session to sign up.
