It’s ‘Talk like Jack Vance Week’ all this week at Goodman Games in honor of DCC Dying Earth! With our kickstarter in its final days, we’re kicking things into linguistic overdrive with a week-long celebration of the stylishly unique language of Jack Vance.
The Dying Earth is growing brighter beneath the light of the fading sun, thanks to those substantiating it!
And for those valiant, we are bringing a supernumerary release to the press!
Of those who have chosen to support our proposition of creating an iteration of Jack Vance’s Dying Earth for the Dungeon Crawl Classics game system, many have requested a new rendition that connotes the novels being adapted. We concur. The composition depicting a wandering theurgist by Sanjulian serves unmitigatedly for the core rulebook, and we have brought this forth. This is the result of our considerations:
This alternate “Magician” cover is inflexibly linked to this Kickstarter—it shall not appear on shelves or in shops outside of this endeavor. A new run of the DCC core rulebook will be fashioned, the intent being to ship it with DCC Dying Earth avouchments. All those dedicating themselves to fillip the project are welcome to include this new impression as an add-on for this project—so for those who are interested, please add it on!
What diligences are requisite to acquire The Magician Cover?
The newly becovered rulebook will be in printed form, so it is only available to those who similarly support a physical edition of DCC Dying Earth. Existing backers can include it with their current pledge for a printed volume, or embrace a new level of support that allows access to this resplendently decorated tome.
Many new stratos of intentions are being added to the Kickstarter! Participants in the campaign can aid in bringing them into permanence by supporting it personally.
