Dungeon Crawl Classics, Dying Earth, The One Who Watches from Below, level 1 adventure
Due to the antics at the end of the pilgrimage to the Black Obelisk, the party decided to explore the Cave of Secrets (conveniently relocated nearby!) before setting off further into the Dying Earth at large. Rumor has it the cave may hold the answers to unnamable secrets, power to raise them above the rabble, and treasure enough to buy a kingdom!
With the ritual mastered and a few days rest, the heroes wax bold and begin to experiment with the curse… and learn the hard way! One of the beasts they meddled with lost control and ran amok nearly killing three of the dapper dabblers, yet were saved by quick thinking and… cotton candy?
Whether you’re new to the Dying Earth setting or Dungeon Crawl Classics overall, fresh blood is always welcome at our tables. I supply initial characters and have some dice to share if needed, so come on and join the ranks of the would-be heroes (or petty tyrants) and poke The One Who Watches from Below in the eye!
