Until Farmer Malmsy found the great spline stuck in the bank. \n“Like a spear it was\, stickin’ out of the mud. But dried up brittle in the sun and crumbled into these grey and red bits here when I finally got me up the nerve to pluck it out. But my big blackie is gone\, and only hoof-prints by the crick bank.” \nNow a side of prime beef\, 30 sp\, and three fresh-baked pies to any who will stop the predation.\n—-\n👹 Think you’ve met all the world’s monsters? … Better re-think that! Herein lairs a… wild heffalump… or perhaps the dreaded buttered-toast coloured wretch-moth… maybe a horrifying deca-limbed walktapus… or the deepest\, foulest dragon-broo yet discovered. \n🤯 But be warned… you can’t put it back once you’ve found it. Maybe all of them. Or they’ve found you. The choice is yours. \n🏚️ Step into the lair and be forever changed\, and maybe save the province. Or go ahead\, stay at home by the fire and sleep better\, growing yourself fatter for later when they’re bigger and hungry again.\n—-\nA one-shot\, choose-your-own-level DCC monster encounter\, the way nature intended. Face the unknown on its home turf—ok\, not totally unknown\, there’ll be rumours. \n👥 Seeking 2-4 players. \nEach player will bring their own PC of any level up to 4\, or if level 0\, up to 4 PCs. \nPro tip: don’t bring PCs unwilling to die.
