Message GrapeApe with any questions. \nThe Abbot’s Hoard is a tale known to all would-be treasure hunters: rebuking the decadent cities of man\, a high priest led his followers into the wilderness to seek a life free of vice and sin. They bore with them a treasure train of priceless relics: holy fonts chased with silver and gold; gem-encrusted croziers; liturgical books bound in plates of platinum and sewn with golden wire; censers of carved gold; and five sacred reliquaries\, proof against the dooms that stalk every mortal man. \nThe tales all end there. The Abbot and his congregation\nvanished\, never to be seen nor heard from again. And to this day\, no treasure hunter has been cunning or courageous enough to return with the secrets of the Abbot of the Woods. \nCan your group of adventurers finally unlock the secrets of the Abbot? \nThis will be a level 2 adventure for 5 players.\nTrying something a bit different. We will roll up characters in the text channel during the days before the game\, there will not be any pre-gens.\nLegacy PCs may be used\, if desired.\nPlease arrive on time so as to not inconvenience other players.

DESCRIPTION:This is an in person game taking place at Nottingham Hackspace (https://wiki.nottinghack.org.uk/wiki/Getting_to_the_space). \nThe gnoles have lived in the forest for as long as anyone can remember. Most people give the deep forest a wide berth\, fearful of the bizarre beasts that dwell in the arboreal shadows. On occasion\, a robber or traveling merchant visits Gnole House\, hoping to fill their pockets\, but they are seldom heard from again. The party has learned both the legend that the gnoles prey on humans for food and that they are said to possess vast wealth in gemstones. Slaying them and claiming the emeralds for their own seems like a worthwhile proposition\, and the party soon finds themselves in the dark forest\, gazing upon the mossy walls of Gnole House. \nA level 1 adventure for Dungeon Crawl Classics\, suitable for beginners and experienced players alike. Characters will be provided.
