DCCs 25-28 in pdf?

Post by Akrasia »

When will DCCs 25-28 be available in pdf format? (I'm most interested in 28.)

Thanks. :)

I second Akrasia!

#28 ... I've been waiting for this module ever since Keep on the Boderlands went out of date/print. O, TSR, why did you forsake us? No matter, Goodman Games will fill the gap!

I read that printing issues were holding up the releases. Any chance of a PDF pre-release for us devotees?

:D I don't think I've ever been a devotee before. Usually those are the 1st level adepts you end up slaughtering in the temple.

Gnaws on foot.

These modules can't come out soon enough, esp. Into the Wilds. I saw they were at the printer. Does that mean that they will be out in early March, or should we expect late March?

How about an extended art gallery? Throw us a bone here!

(Please.)

Noted! I will see about getting an art gallery up soon. In the meantime, here's an update:

#25 and #26: I'm holding hot-off-the-presses copies in my hands as I type this. They both turned out great! They're shipping to distributors now and will be in stores the first week of May. The DCC #26 PDF will be available next week.

#27 and #28: At the printer now. These should be in stores mid to late May.

This is so fun to see. I wouldn't expect anyone to change their home game to match DCC world, but both #25 & #26 were crucial when we were building the world. Bits of the Known World are coming to light.

Love it.

People might think we built the world from scratch, but really all of it is derived from the world you guys sculpted. Both #25 and #26 have entire areas born out of their backstory.

But you know that already. After all, you're the devious writer who created it.

Just adding my voice to the chorus. Can't get these adventures soon enough. Hardback, too. :)

I don't have an exact date yet -- it depends on when the printer finishes it. They should have it done by next Monday, then I'll be able to time the PDF and print releases of #27 and #28. So "a couple weeks"...

If the modules weren't so good, we wouldn't bother you so much. Might be time to lower the quality. ;)

The expanded art galleries are amazing! Who is the artist from this one:

http://goodman-games.com/images/DCC28-3.jpg ?!?!?!

It could pass for a classic Elmore! I tried to make out the signature so I could buy a print from the artist, but I couldn't read it. Cliff something?

And the Rat King. Wow!

http://goodman-games.com/images/DCC27-3.jpg

That has GOT to be one of BKM's finest!

Thank you for bringing our adventures to life!

That first one is Cliff Kurowski. He's really nailed the right style, I'll tell you.

What's funny about Brad's art is that I originally had to ask him to "tone it down" for the DCC series. He was TOO good for a series that was supposed to be somewhat cartoony! You can see in that picture that he let his true skill show.

Second the kudos to your artists. Well done!

Maybe one day we can have an "Art of the Dungeon Crawl Classics" book, collecting all the covers, and select interior art, along with some interviews with the artists behind the distinctive DCC looks.
