Just taking the time to note that Goodman Games has – arguably – the best fan base ever.
On the Yahoo newsgroup there was a request for free copies of DCC pdf files. Whether or not the poster understood what he was asking for is irrelevant. The awesome part is that multiple DCC fans replied (kindly and with great restraint) that they would in no way support piracy of DCCs.
After visiting the Goodman booth at a convention I realized that this is more like a family business than a faceless corporation. They all know each other – the creators of the games actually run their own games at conventions. It’s a friendly company dedicated to producing first class games.
…and it’s only possible with us fans.
So, thank you, brothers and sisters! Keep the faith!
To the Fans!

I'd just like to echo these thoughts from a contributor's point of view.
When we first started to look for a publisher for Etherscope we did so with trepidation that our beloved world would be hacked and changed to make it more "marketable".
Joseph saw imediately the potential for the setting and has nurtured us through the creative process. He's put together a great design team (Luke, Ken, Shane) and everyone seems to have a great positive attitude to the project - something I'm sure is own in a large part to Joseph.
Hell, we're even planning on travelling a thousand miles at our own expense just so that we can come to GenCon next year and run a demo game ourselves!
Cheerio

Awesome! I can't wait to see the game run by the folks that designed it. The dark future/past will never be the same ....malladin_ben wrote:Hell, we're even planning on travelling a thousand miles at our own expense just so that we can come to GenCon next year and run a demo game ourselves!
