It can be used as either a prequel or sequel to DCC #12: The Blackguard's Revenge, since it's stand-alone. The idea is simple: when the devourer led his wight army against the paladins in DCC #12, he left behind the Iron Crypt completely unguarded. Somebody has to close up this bastion of evil!
