Noob question about a monster's hit modifier

Post by teazowashere »

Dumb noob question...
on page 454 of DCC RPG (the Portal Under the Stars adventure) in Area 1-3, the statue comes to life and "sends forth a scorching burst of flame from it's fingertips: +6 to hit...."
What does "+6 to hit mean"? Does he roll a 1d20 + 6? 1d10 + 6 to hit? Something else?

Thanks!

Welcome aboard! It's a normal attack roll with d20.

Thank you.

That is what I told my band of 10 year olds that play with the old man (me)....but after having all their characters die so quick they couldn't believe it.
LOL!!!
They are too spoiled...hehe...

I love this game.

thanks again.
