Patrons for Non-Spellcasters

I remember reading somewhere on these forums that characters other than Elves and Wizards could have Patrons.
How is this possible without access to the Invoke Patron Spell?

A spellcaster with the patron bond spell can bind anyone to a patron to which the spellcaster is bonded - thus giving anyone, classed or 0-level, a patron.

D'oh! I was only reading the "Invoke Patron" spell. I totally missed "Patron Bond". I feel dumb now. LOL! Thanks for the heads up.
