Question about release dates . . .

Post by Sword Guy »

I have a question about the release date of the Mech Manual. I know that the original plan was to release it in November. That then shifted to December. But now, the Mech Manual is in the January upcoming releases, with a small caption "look for this in Febuary 2004"

Could someone please give me a little clarification on this?

The Mech Manual went to the printer last week and is finally back on track. Depending on the printer's timetable, it will be available in late January or early February. (The Upcoming Releases listing was a typo; it should be listed in January, unless I hear otherwise from the printer.)

You wouldn't believe the list of disasters associated with this project...

- The graphic designer broke his arm

- Then his house got struck by lightning

- Then his video card broke and he couldn't use his computer for several days

- Then he finally finished the layout and was burning the final PDF for the printer, only to have his computer crash and the native files get corrupted... with no backup

- At that point he threw up his hands in disgust and we brought in another graphic designer, who rushed rushed rushed and finally got it done.

The good news is Second Age of Walkers is on track -- its layout is actually being finalized right now -- so it should still be a March release.
