I have the boxed set, but as others have remarked, it can be quite difficult to read the watermarked pages, especially in a dim room.
I was thinking of getting the pdf. Does it have a printer-friendly version WITHOUT the page background shading?
It seems somewhat expensive to buy both, but I MIGHT be willing. I know that RPGobjects gives people a free copy of the pdf when they buy a printed book but that's very generous, and I don't expect every company to follow suit.
Some kind of discount, though, would be very sweet... A redemption code, perhaps?

Yes, there is a no-background, printer friendly version that comes with the pdf.
