Christmas comes early but not early enough

Post by Kruvil »

I'm a grown man with a job and responsibilities. Yet I feel like Christmas is two days away and Joseph won't let me have any presents early. :D

I have been seeking a real swords & sorcery D&D experience for the last few years. I love Pathfinder but my players are using rules that cover 1,168 pages and on top of that are two monster books and a GM book not counting any world info or adventures I'm using. I may simply not be smart enough to run that type of game anymore and to be honest, my back is starting to hurt from lugging all those books around!

I have seen just tiny bits and pieces of DCC RPG so far but I like what I see. I saw a post over at ENWorld about what people are looking for in D&D 5E (yes, yet another thread) and many people pretty much want DCC.

Is it Wednesday yet? Is it Wednesday yet?

I agree with everyone here...is it ready yet? I too, like Pathfinder, but it just doesn't have the playability I'm looking for. I bet the answer will arrive tomorrow!

Wrong attitude. Free RPG Day is "Christmas" (June 18) and Joseph is letting you have the Beta rules ten days early (June 8)! :P
