will kick starter backers get the chance to test the app? I here a Samsung Galaxy s 2 & a cheap $80 dollar tablet and I am keen it works on both devices
Yes backers will be able to test things as we move forward! On the Android side, the device needs to support Adobe Air, which means Android 2.2 and higher. The Galaxy s 2 is a good candidate for testing: the Adobe site indicates is should work, but we won't really know until we start testing.
As for your cheap tablet - if it's Android 2.2 or higher, it's a possibility: but it likely only supports Android 2.1. That's pretty common for the wave of inexpensive tablets that arrived last year. (I have one... it's now my sons!) On the plus side, the Crawler's Companion runs very well on both the Kindle Fire and the Nook Color, which are pretty affordable: so hopefully the current/next wave of cheap Android tablets will at least match their specs.
