Upload: Etherpunk (http://www.goodmangames.com/17622preview.php), the next Etherscope release.yperiwn wrote:What's that?

Well It's here....I have it......and it looks ok........No it doesn't it looks absolutely fantastic. It puts the punk into cyberpunk but keeps the victorian feel that I so love about this game.
Where do I start, well first I haven't read it, just flicked through but still the new talents and feats are great, the advanced classes are interesting to say the least and the equipment section is a pure catalogue of boys toys (sorry no distrespect to all the ladies out there that play).
But guns, guns, vehicles, general equipment its all here for the taking.
So now I have it i want more ...... Whats next from the warped minds of you designers?
One question (take me out and hit me with a wet kipper for being dense) each advanced class has pre-requesites so I take it you can't have a 1st level character belonging to one of these classes? or can you? if you were to create a character and he / she complied with the pre-requesites could they enter that class or am I totally off the mark?
(please put that kipper down......Oh go on then but just one hit......)

Jamat,
Delighted you liked Upload: Etherpunk. As for the advanced classes, no, you can't be a 1st-level character with an advanced class. The prerequisites require a certain number of skill ranks, and you can't get those skill ranks without one or (usually) more levels in one of the standard classes. In other words, you can't earn the skill ranks needed for a prerequisite and fulfill the prerequisite at the same time. Does that explain it?
Enjoy!

I don't think I can say yet, but "warped" is a good way of thinking about it .jamat wrote:So now I have it i want more ...... Whats next from the warped minds of you designers?
Just to add to what Ken has already said, advanced classes are designed so that you can get into them, at the quickest, by 3rd level. Not that this is particualrly written in stone, but so far (i think) all class have worked to this philosophy.jamat wrote:One question (take me out and hit me with a wet kipper for being dense) each advanced class has pre-requesites so I take it you can't have a 1st level character belonging to one of these classes?

Well, the release schedule says september. Generally publishers try to get as much as possible ready for GenCon (mid August), but I don't know whether MotO will manage this deadline or not. If they do I'd guess that you'd be looking at about a month after for things to get over to Blighty, but as I say I don't know for sure. Joseph will know more...jamat wrote:Now that sounds really warped...... WHEN DO WE GET IT....WHEN.
