Where in the Forgotten Realms

Post by tcabril »

My apologies if this has been stated before - I did try looking....

Where in the Forgotten Realms (specifically the Sword Coast Adventure Guide) would you place the Into the Borderlands adventure?
My favorite two modules by the way - I seriously cut my teeth in D&D back in 1979 through 1981 on those modules - we were so naive that we thought that was all you were supposed to do....

Oh well my point is - where would you put it?

I forgot about those realms so much that I don't know where they'd be put.

Not familiar enough with the current state of the Realms at all to point to a spot...

But Keep on the Borderlands should be on the edge of an unexplored area. Assuming such still exist in the FR, find one you like and place it there, eh?

No one's going to be able to say you're wrong.

I'd probably put it by the Woods of Sharp Teeth, even going so far as to replace Durlag's Tower with the Keep. If that doesn't work, I'd look into putting it elsewhere in the Western Heartlands region.

hi mr. curtis, nothing to add except that your FR series of blog essays is probably one of my favorite reads on the nets ever.
