Hey Road Crew, how about we still organize something May 16?

So looks like DCC Day is moving to June. I had been planning on running something on May 16 at the local game store -- like many I'm sure -- but obviously we won't be able to. I'm still thinking of running something that day online, and thought: what if we road crew still "organized" (loosely) online games that day (as many are likely to do anyway). We could all run the same module, or a tournament module and compare results, and make it into a competition of some sort. Or just run games as we usually do. It likely wouldn't tie into the original intent of DCC Day (supporting local retailers) but we could still do something to show support for Goodman Games.
Good idea? Lousy idea? Redundant/pointless/nuncupatory idea?

I think this is a great idea. I would be open to any of your suggestions. I have been running games using discord and roll20.

Great! A few of us have been discussing on the GG discord server (#road-crew-discussion channel). So far we've decided to run Frozen in Time with level-1 PCs and create a scoring sheet to run it as a team competition. Questions and ideas are being gathered at this stage so anyone is welcome to join in! For those who don't want to get into Discord, feel free to jump in here on the forum as well. For VTT, I'll probably be using Roll20/Discord, others are talking Zoom or FG, so really anything goes.

Update: to make it more accessible to all Road Crew judges, we've decided to run the classic Portal Under the Stars! That way everyone has access to the module (either in their hands or the PDF).

Unofficial Virtual Road Crew Day!
A few of us are planning on running Portal Under the Stars tournament style on or around May 16 online in lieu of the original DCC Day.
