Post-Con Con on the Cob Details!

A great time was had in Hudson, OH as DCC and other Goodman Games products made a splash at this unique con a few days ago - organized by a kind and generous host, Andy Hopp

A gigantic and endless thank you to all the new and existing DCC fans who stopped by to chat, game and pick up product! While we can't attempt to name you all, you know who you are and thanks again! Enormous props go out to our tireless epic judges Eric Daum and the immortal Doug Kovacs who ran more sessions than I throughout the con. We received a mountain of positive feedback, and our gaming presence was one of the highlights of the con! Simply couldn't have been a success without you!

Our own Rob Conley of points of light fame was also attending the con, running his own games and playing in several DCC sessions. I was also honored to run a game along with other great players in the Tower out of Time.

The great Fred Fields stopped by our booth and chatted about Goodman Games products! It was great meeting Fred, and getting to know him.

When the sad time came for this con to end - several new DCC fans were created, new groups rumored to have been formed in the ohio countryside, and existing fans invigorated for new adventures! Not to mention Shanna Dahaka's update... check out the pictures!

DCC Dominates Con On The Cob!
Starting tonight as you can see here, Doug Kovacs is delivering a full table of the spine wizards tower. It didn't take long for word we were here to have sold out tables!
If you play at one of the official tables, you get a world tour con player prize pack!
Thanks to my wife in the assistance of new player prize packs, assembled a few nights before. :-)

And everyone thought Michael Curtis had the only known copy of this... this sold for a whopping dollar at the silent auction. A damn shame I didn't see it until the bidding was done...

Yes! I was there and had a great time playing the various DCC games. The main thing I did not like was not being able to finish any of them!(((( I would suggest that the adventures need to be resized for cons or stick to the .5 adventures.

When I spoke with you Friday, none of the rule books sold. Did you happen to sell any at the con?

We sure did! =)

Sunday was the day where folks decided to pick up some copies of the rules.

Once I ran all the numbers and filed my notes; I noted that the majority of the folks who played or visited the booth were already DCC fans - already owning books.(Which is awesome!) The minority of RPG fans visiting got the proselytization planted into their subconscious, to give birth at a later date.

As a result we had mostly module & accessory sales.
