They are terrified of water!

It's official. Goodman Games 3.5 line of modules has my group so scared of water that whenever they encounter it now they run the other way. 
I finally got my regular group to try DCC RPG and ran them through Portal. As soon as they got to area six the group turned into that guy from The Benchwarmers who was afraid of the sun. They all just ran to the exit screaming and swinging wildly at anything that moved. I love the spiral staircase behind the door. This created a logjam of hysterical zeros trying to get downstairs as fast as possible. Meanwhile the crystal creatures slowly shambled towards them (the light) to do... Oh man, what a scene!
After the game when they asked what they missed in that room and about the crystal creatures I let them in on the secret about the light source. They were bummed about missing the loot and blamed me for all the adventures I ran that had water killing their PC's.
This whole encounter was so funny to me. We all had a good time and will be playing again soon.
