I am curious: is anyone using ruin and fear mechanics from Transylvanian Adventures?
btw, that was nice book. i kinda disliked classes and loved almost everything else. whatever happened to the second book?

Re: Ruin and Fear
and while we are at it there is also this that i think i like in the TA
Characters receive a post-combat bump in hit
points. Immediately after a scene or encounter,
a character recovers 1d4-1 hit points. A
character’s hit points cannot recover beyond
the character’s maximum hit point score.
i really like this rule. it somehow enforces the feel that HPs are not necessarily "real" damage.
