Google group, who do I have to crit?

So I tried to join the Google group and my request has been languishing for months. I cant seem to post anything and is still says "cancel join request" all the time. What am I doing wrong? I want to join the fun.

I did the same thing, and sent him a message. Still can't get in. Quite the exclusive club!
