I am going to support GG Kickstarter, largely do to the DCC mini campaign setting included with #83 The Chained Coffin, and was wondering when the CC is charged? Is the full amount charged at the moment you pledge or when the order is ready to ship out? I would hate to have a pending charge, on my CC, for months. For DCC #83 is not is to be released till late this summer.

My experiences with Kickstarters are you get billed the moment the Kickstarter ends. This charge does not include shipping (unless the project states otherwise) which will be a separate billing when the final project is ready to be shipped. I've always been notified before the shipping is charged, letting me know what it will be and if there are various options available (Post Office, UPS, etc.).

The drive ends on June 1st and that's when you're charged. That way, if a project didn't reach it's minimum goal, no one is charged.

Kickstarter handles billing through Amazon, so you'll need an Amazon account.

And on this one, the shipping is billed later; when your package is ready to go out, you'll get an invoice to pay that and then your package ships.
