I vote annual. I have an Aereth box set and CWR's Cillamar is my big city of choice.

I would love to see that too!

At this point, I would buy another copy (my third) only if the slipcase and book had new art and any relevant errata. Otherwise, I would probably have to pass...although the slipcase looks great. I would likely use the slipcase for modules instead of the core book.

I would rather have DCC have new editions and added rules to buy than the limited/collectible war we have been seeing for some time now.

"War"...?
I'd think it was fairly important to keep the game in print. If the additional choice is to fancy it up, who am I to argue?

Another vote for Punjar here.
(Though the slipcase compilation of modules someone suggested would be very very nice.)

1. Punjar!
2. Not too interested in a slip case...
3. Please no splat books, new classes or rules in the core book.
4. New covers are always cool, if someone needs to buy a new book, why not have a new cover? I really like the black one... I will try to grab it when it shows up on ebay.

Well the special editions are a little bit pricey, but I buy them just the same...

As soon as I have confirmation that it's actually printed. Probably sometime in October or November.

Aerth!
One of my favourite settings is the Old World for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay and I believe that Aerth could be as rich and evocative. It would be great to see Aerth fleshed out in all it's freaky glory for DCC.

Hi everyone
How about a slipcase edition with the core rules as is but broken up into more manageable chunks...like the magic section being it's own book etc?
That would help at the table I think and look cool. Just a thought. You could also then maybe sell the separate magic book on it's own for those who want it without the other rules...

I am anti slipcase in any format of existing stuff. I am only going to accept the same birthday gift in new wrapper paper so many times before I start asking for a gift receipt.
Second Edition had errata and an index added in. I bought the wizard cover because it had those two things and it was being sold at the same cover price as the reprinted 2 printing. The third volume offering only a slip case or a .5 adventure is not worth it.

Is the artwork folio in the slipcase edition the same that was released with the Wizard cover?

No, the art folio for the slipcase cover is the Peter Mullen art folio. The wizard cover had the Stefan Poag folio. Both very cool. But different!

How about tossing in some updated maps of Aereth? I am using Blackmarsh and Mystara for my DCC campaign but could easily add Aereth to the mix...via a portal.

OK....now I'm confused! Is the slipcase leatherette like the first post in this thread indicates? Or is the book leatherette? Or neither? The description on the pre-order page seems to indicate that Goodman has gone in a different direction that originally planned. I pre-ordered with the understanding that one or both would be "brown leatherette." I realize that is my own fault, but now it looks like the slipcase edition will be completely different that originally described.

I'm confused too. The book in the slipcase will have a new cover, the original special edition cover or the Gate cover?
