Question about spellcasting
If you fumble on a spell check what is the procedure please? I cast Flaming Hands in a game last night and simply rolled misfire but after reading the description of fumbles it seems I should have possibly done more. Do you have to roll every category each time? Misfire, corruption and the fumble?
Re: Question about spellcasting
Depends on the spell check results. They're different for each spell.

Re: Question about spellcasting
You have to look up in the spell results under the "1" entry. Most spells require a die roll that determines the exact fumble result. For Flaming Hands the fumble result is:
"Lost, failure, and worse! Roll 1d6 modified by Luck: (0 or less) corruption + patron taint + misfire; (1-2) corruption; (3) patron taint (or corruption if no patron); (4+) misfire."
"Lost, failure, and worse! Roll 1d6 modified by Luck: (0 or less) corruption + patron taint + misfire; (1-2) corruption; (3) patron taint (or corruption if no patron); (4+) misfire."
