Just wondering, and if so, will there be a rerelease of DCC 35?

An educated guess would be: No.

Will there be a mind-meltingly cool, totally unexpected in scope, details and awesomeness new product, that knocks the old 3e version on it's backside...?

I'd hope so...

Only insofar as some of the examples and names used are in the core book. There was talk about producing an all-new DCCified Aereth setting book down the line, so it wouldn't be something as prosaic as a re-release of 35.

Appendix N contains the default setting for the DCC RPG. Better get reading! :D

I really hope Áereth continues to serve as the default setting. Based on what I'm reading in the core rules that seems to be the case. I would love to see Goodman Games release a series of Known World Gazetteers with hand-drawn, illuminated, poetic-style maps (see page 364). That would make me very happy! :D

AFAICT from everything that I have read and played, yes Áereth is still the implied setting for DCC.

While I too would like to see DCC #35 (and DCC #50 as well) ported to DCCRPG with all sorts of cool maps like the ones in the modules, I am not sure if this is in the cards at this time. Give Goodman time to make available all of the modules which were promised before release day.

Perhaps some interested party with access to the #35 box set could release a conversion document in the meantime?
