I'm a bit confused as to what book arrives when. I pre-ordered the standard edition just after April 1st.

When can I expect it to arrive in the UK?

Like everywhere else, when they get here. Standard procedure when pre-orders are done for something is to ship them out in the order they were placed, regardless of destination. It's all then down to the joys of int'l post, and as someone who routinely orders stuff from the US, that can take anywhere from 5 days to a month to arrive. Given that folks in the US are only just starting to have their copies arrive, it's pretty obvious we'll be waiting a while yet across the pond.

Really looking forward to it. Have you seen the spine of the book? Wow! That is nice.

International mail is very hard to predict. I can tell you that all pre-orders placed before April 1 have been shipped (direct from the printer), and those placed after April 1 have mostly shipped, with the last ones shipping out this week. So, "it's in the mail." Beyond that, all I can say is it may be fast or it may be slow...I'd give it at least 2-3 weeks and we'll see how the post office does!
