Level 0 miniatures

I was wondering if DCC Miniatures would be producing miniatures of the level 0 occupations. Due to the character funnel and the set gear, I think they would be both accurate to character sheets and get a lot of use.

Check out some of these (by another company).

I think there is one guy with a chicken, and maybe another with a pig (?) !

I might need to pick these up, just for the 0-level games!

That line looks great for level 0! Thank you.

I see a lot of painting in my future.

These are some Fenryll minatures I found that fit the bill as well.

Still trying to find a minstrel with a ukulele, though. The closest one I've found is the minstrel miniature from Talisman.

Did Wizards ever do any pre-painted plastic "townsfolk" ?

Very few, but they did do a handful. I definitely remember a farmer with a pig.

Cool minstrel figure. I reckon you could use any townfolk really and just go with what they are carrying...so perhaps the minstrel has a fiddle instead of a lute or whatever.

As a side note... I was telling one of my gaming group about DCC Rpg and what it roughly is about for the first time....testing the water to see if he was interested or if I had a hard sell on my hands. We rolled a quock 0 level character and he got a Farmer with pitchfork and hen. He said....this game is stupid what do I do with a hen....then I said about checking for traps and this slow smile came on his face. After that it was plain sailing and once we got to magic, spellburns, mecurial magic, patrons and all that goodness, he said "and this is really d&d? But...but this is totally cool"..

Anyway sorry to sidetrack...i may have to get that figure with the chicken for him :D

I found some cool miniatures in the German Dungeonslayers-Forum.

From Games Workshop - Frenzied Mob:

Wargamers Foundry:

Reaper / The Village of Kullhaven: Townsfolk I

also Reaper / Townsfolk VIII:Village Mob

There are a whole miniature line called "townsfolk".

That's what happens when you gain a level.

And is it just me, or does Europe have all the best minis? I need to talk Joseph into sending us to a few conventions in Germany ... I wonder if Joseph ever got his deportation sorted out.

My advice: The RPC (RolePlay Convention), the biggest RPG Convention not only for pen & paper, also for LARP, Reenactment, TCGs, Tabletop, MiddleAge, Computer RPG and so on ...
