For those who are wondering about the images that are similar to the red book art (e.g., as noted on this blog: http://strangemagic.robertsongames.com/ ... lones.html )...
They're all by the same artist, Diesel LaForce. The DCC RPG images aren't "copies" by a different artist. They are by the same guy who did them back in the 1970's! Diesel wanted to re-imagine some of the images that he drew when he worked for TSR -- but with the benefit of 30 years of additional art experience.

This might be a dumb question, but does he retain the rights to the originals? Does that even matter?
