Been a while...but man, what a turn out.

Post by Pilgrim »

It's been a while since I've visited the boards, even after my copy of the game arrived in the mail. Was really busy finishing up the last semester at school and just didn't have time for much game oriented activity, even the forums. Just recently ordered in the first two released modules, they should be in for me to pick up today at the local shop; really looking forward to checking them out and kicking off some DCC gaming this coming weekend.

I must say after checking back in, DCC RPG seems to have attracted quite a following already, not only here but on other boards across the net as well. That's phenomenal! The boards have exploded with new members and folks checking out the game, I'm really stoked to see the community take to it so well, it's such an amazing game and really deserves all the attention it's getting.

So, just a shout out to Joseph and crew, "Congratulations and keep up the good work." :D

Welcome back to the fold. As you've noted, things certainly are moving quickly at the moment!

Of course there is no way to predict whether DCC will remain strong or fizzle out, but at the moment the number of folks interested in discussion of the game or producing 3PP products is pretty impressive.

Everything looses momentum after a while, but if GG can keep the quality of the modules, create a cool annual every year for those who want more content and the 3PPs don't stop either, then it's going to have a nice and stable future.
