Probably either the Azi Dahaka (has a great mythic feel imo), the fungal construct or the Puppeteer vine.

But its all good stuff

I want to buy the hardcover for this book but I was noticing that the page count is different on some sites. It is listed as 128 rather than the 144 listed here. So my question is what is the ISBN of the hardcover book?

The book is 144 pages (or at least the one sitting here in front of me is :D). The ISBN for Blackdirge Dungeon Denizens is 978-0-9816663-8-9.

This book certainly filled in more than a few blanks, namely some interesting plants and monstrous vermin that I could crib for my celtic-themed campaign, though I'm also partial to the handful of classics that made a comeback such as the vargouille and barghest.
