GenCon tourney swag and game aid - free!

Post by superfan »

Dear forum friends,

Joe Goodman, in his generosity, has sent me oodles of the large color maps printed off for this year's "Palace of the Wastes" tournament. In an odd twist, instead of just getting one copy of each map, I ended up often times with 2-6 copies. I plan to laminate one set of maps and will run my players through this immediately when the module comes out in a few months, but wonder if I can share some of Joe's largess.

If anyone from the forum wants to drop me an email at benwax@aol.com, I'd be happy to send you a few maps, or one of each if you'd like (for the memories, to run the module, whatever). All you need to pay for is postage and the mailing tube (my wife will kill me otherwise). If there are specific maps that you'd like, just let me know.

Rock on DCC! Thanks again Joe, wish I could've been there!

I didnt get a chance to say good job on the maps, Ben. (Other than in all the items we signed for you of course.) The third level maps definately have some wow value.

One note if you reprint them, the 3rd level "key room" staircase is off by about 10'. Should be easy to fix.

That was fast!!! Looks like the free giveaway is OVAH ! I'm out of maps.

Three emails and three sets of maps will get sent off tomorrow. Hope you enjoy them, and use them to spread the word on Goodman Games to your home groups and tournaments everywhere when the module is released next year!

Dear Friends,

Sorry I ran out of maps!

One suggestion would be that if you'd like these maps for your own group, Joe Goodman might be able to put you in touch with the people who made the printouts for GenCon. If enough people express interest, perhaps the cost of printing and shipping would be reasonable. Maybe if you agree to run a local tournament when the module is released ?? Might generate a little excitement and buzz before next year's Gencon.

I think it would be great to have a bunch of mini tournaments held in local areas.

Drop Joe an email and find out. He's a stand up guy, and generous to a fault!
