Here they are. I sculpted the kobold and Jason Weibe sculpted the rest of the figures. I would love to hear more of what you think of them.

Hi I am a long time lurker, first time poster, a big mini's fan as well as Goodman/ DCC fan.
Unfortunately I missed Gen Con, but read about these awhile back. I think these greens are great!!!
These could really help push the popularity of the modules even more if they were sold in packs tying to a particular DCC module, especially if you do Iconics heros and monsters that are not commonly found in other mini lines.

example: DCC #17 Legacy of the Savage Kings
Contains 12 mini's: Cole, Silver, Hondo, Skerrit, Mortigan, Stygoth the Dragon, The Mad Hermit, Graah the Ogre, Giant Constrictor Snake, Zombie Owlbear, Animated Statue, Lizardfolk King.

I would keep them plastic and sell them painted as non random RPG competition against the WotC DDM stuff. Reaper and others have the metal/ painting thing locked down. If that's the way it was I know alot of people that would buy these instantly.

Thanks for the compliments. Prepainted and/or plastic figures have to be produced in really large volumes (tens of thousands) to make them cost effective for the company. I do not think Joseph is looking at the quantities that would make prepainted plastic figures feasible at this time.

when will they be for sale and when will we see an ogre and owlbear

i think they all look great how much will they cost
and when will we see more id like to see some bug bears and gnolls

They'll be available early next year. More information will be announced as soon as it is available!

They are scaled to match Reaper. Jason Weibe is a sculptor for Reaper and he did almost all of the sculpts.

will we be see ing any gnome fighters with asorted weapons like spears and swords and bows and how about some american indian looking wild elves armed with war clubs and bowsand spears

While we're on the subject, I thought I'd mention that heroes are only the beginning of the line. We'll also have a cool assortment of monsters, focusing on dungeon beasts (including oft-overlooked vermin and cave creatures), classic humanoids (like kobolds and troglodytes), and cool bad guys from the DCC line (including the Castellan for those of you who played in our 2006 DCC tournament).

Will this miniatures be plastic or pewter?

They're pewter.

What kind of packaging do the miniatures come in? Packs that correspond to DCC modules? Single figures only?

They'll be packed as single figures. Since each figure corresponds to a specific DCC (sometimes in a generic way, sometimes very specifically), we might someday do boxed sets of some kind.

Yup. Chalychia is in progress. The Rat King is slated for further down the road.
