A Question...

Post by J Harper »

Are the good folk here at Goodman Games still accepting unsolicitied submissions for DCCs?

The submission page says yes, but it's over a year old now, and I just want to make certain before I get too deep with my project.

Cheers,

Yes -- we just haven't needed to update the submissions page in quite a while.

Cool. Now I just need to keep up some momentum. 1,000 words down, 19,000 to go.

Jeremy,

Before you go to all the work of writing an entire manuscript, feel free to to send in a query. Any writing is always good practice, but I'd hate to see you put in a ton of work on something we just commissioned.

Edit: I just realized you might be working on building up a writing sample. In that case, carry on! :)

The lucky guy who got to write some Dungeon Crawl Classics.

DCC Resource thread: character sheets, judge tools, and the world's fastest 0-level party creator.

Yup, that's what I'm working on, though in practice the sample will be the first area of the adventure I have in mind, giving me a head start on it if my idea gets a green light.

Got some decent headway tonight. I figure my friend Curt (who inspired me to finally try my hand at something like this) can write a 100,000 word novel in two months, I can get a 20,000 word adventure sample done in a reasonable amount of time.

Cheers,
