I'm a big fan of the list of encounters at the beginning of each DCC module. When evaluating a module, I'll read the description (to see if it catches my interest), and then immediately find the list of encounters. I look for a good balance of combat, traps, and puzzles.
Does anyone else do this?
I assume I'm not alone in this, otherwise Goodman Games wouldn't continue printing the list of encounters in each DCC...

We haven't played DCC #27 yet, but we have tickets to play it at GenCon. Looking foward to it...bento wrote:That's probably my favorite first thing to turn to as well!
If the adventure doesn't have a balance of puzzle, traps and combat encoutners, I'll get bored running it.
That's why DCC #27 and 35A are tops in my book.
