List of encounters and ELs

Post by fathead »

I'm a big fan of the list of encounters at the beginning of each DCC module. When evaluating a module, I'll read the description (to see if it catches my interest), and then immediately find the list of encounters. I look for a good balance of combat, traps, and puzzles.

Does anyone else do this?

I assume I'm not alone in this, otherwise Goodman Games wouldn't continue printing the list of encounters in each DCC...

That's probably my favorite first thing to turn to as well!

If the adventure doesn't have a balance of puzzle, traps and combat encoutners, I'll get bored running it.

That's why DCC #27 and 35A are tops in my book.

We haven't played DCC #27 yet, but we have tickets to play it at GenCon. Looking foward to it...
