Why are you going to GenCon?

I'm running the DCC tournament again this year, hopefully in such a devastatingly efficient manner that I get to spend some quality booth time this go around.

Heh, look for the guy in the gaming hall shouting, "DCC TOURNAMENT! WHO'S HERE FOR THE DUNGEON CRAWL TOURNAMENT?"

For a couple of reasons:

1) Because I've never been to GenCon before.
2) Because I'd finally like to meet a whole bunch of people face-to-face, people whom I consider friends, even though I've never met them in person. Joseph Goodman, for starters! And Harley Stroh. And Jeff LaSala. And a whole bunch of other writers, artists, and fans ...
3) Because I'd like to run one of my own DCCs (well, part of one, anyway) at GenCon.
4) Because I want to pick up a copy of Castle Whiterock. Hey, I'm a fan too ...

In that case, add a couple other teams to the list as well:

Josh O' Conners team and We Flunked Flank.

Josh won 2 years in a row.

We Flunked Flank had members on the winning team the 1st year (I'm pretty sure, anyway), and they gave us some strong competition last year...and they only had 3 players in the final round!

I'm going to try to convince more people they should buy the entire line of Dragonmech products, which has nothing to do with DCCs...but hey, you asked.
