Some DCC questions

Post by NarlethDrider »

Greetings all! I'm new to these boards & almost new to the DCCs. Anywho, i picked up the Gazetteer of the Known Realms & i am enjoying it greatly. I have also picked up a small number of the pdf DCCs over the last couple of months & i enjoy the nostolgic feel of these adventures.

My budget is somewhat limited, but, with my 40th(erg!) Birthday coming march the 4th i will find myself w/a few xtra bucks to spend---I'm looking for some DCC's w/some of the following beasties:
Lizard Men
Scorpion Folk
Drow (I got the obvious one  )
Driders
Sahaugin
Spiders, scorpions, etc...
Bug men types

Here's a few DCCs that should (hopefully) meet your requirements:

DCC #7: The Secret of Smuggler's Cove
DCC #16: Curse of the Emerald Cobra
DCC #17: Legacy of the Savage Kings
DCC #26: The Scaly God
DCC #37: The Slithering Overlord
DCC #40: The Devil in the Mists

Details on these (and all the other DCCs!) can be found at the following link:

I'd suggest The Iron Crypt of the Heretics, DCC #12.5. It has some driders in it, and you could add some drow to the list of bad guys without throwing the story off at all.

The ones Mike suggested are great adventures for lower mid-level PCs, whereas The Iron Crypt is suited for PCs of levels 11-13.

Enjoy,

I'd second any of the suggestions. They are all some of the better DCCs.

Since Legacy of the Savage Kings was mentioned, if you're interested, the write-up for my adventure through the module is here:

That will give you at least an idea of what it's like.
Forgiveness is between you and your maker. I'm just responsible for the meeting.
