I spoke with a buddy of mine (the guy who fills in the mail order requests for GG) and he's clued me into a new trick that might kill them off ONCE AND FOR ALL!

will this ever end????? I clicked on a seemingly innocent WOW! in the art section only to have a graphic porn pic pop up while my wife was looking over my shoulder. I guess I should have known better. However the spammer usually has a run on title like best murk 180 pills booger.

I may have just realized the solution!

We have an area called Goodman Games General... We just need a section called Goodman Games Private, and all the spam can get posted there! ...hmm, Maybe it should be Goodman Games Corporal...

What do you think, Sirs?

*sound of crickets*

So, I'm guessing you fixed the SPAM problem. Its gone from new SPAM everyday, to no SPAM over the last four days or so. Either that, or SPAMMERS have decided to quit spamming the site (which I doubt.) Either way, hurray! Its much more pleasant now.

Thanks!
I'm manually screening all would-be members of the board, which means I spend about a half-hour per day deleting spam accounts.
Some very clever ones may slip through, but it should - SHOULD - be a whole lot less.
When we update the board next it should get even easier.
