Just found this site and the Dungeon Crawl modules really seem like the kind of stuff I can get into. I haven't been playing RPGs in over a decade. Where can I find people who are playing tabletop games online ?
Thanks in advance

Have you checked EN World?
www.enworld.org -- it's a huge d20 site; there's likely an online presence there.
Also check out the DragonMech: Destiny of Steam and Steel forum here -- some folks are playing an online game on this very forum.

Yep, there are many sites for PBEM (Play By E-mail) or PBP (Play By Post [message boards]) role-playing games. You can try a Google or Yahoo search, but here are a few I've visited:
RolePlay Online:
http://rpol.net/
Role-Playing Games Network:
http://www.roleplayinggames.net/
PlayByWeb:
http://www.playbyweb.com/
One cautionary note, however: Most online RPGs tend to start off with a great burst of creative energy, and then slowly die as some of the players stop posting and fade away after a while. If you want to join a game, definitely give it a shot (I still play in one), but try to find a campaign where you can see consistent posting over a long period of time from a solid base of players.
If you're planning on
running one of the DCCs or any other game online, ask prospective players about their RPG background: You'll get a sense of their enthusiasm as well as their ability to write.

Why does everyone who worked on Etherscope have something to do with Dragonmech.....
I'm the DM for Destiny of Steam and Steel. It's slowed down a bit since starting. I've been very busy but I won't let the game die and I am looking for new players. I ran an online game on AOL for five years, and I've run other games back in the BBS age days.
