Using the DCC 0 level starter Concept in C&C

I do not believe C&C has NPC classes or 0 level characters. But I see folks have run some of the 0 lvl mods with C&C. So how did you do it?
Did you most folks just adjust the difficulty of the encounters as suggested?
Or has anyone devised a 0 level class conversion for C&C?
I would love to see rules for that.
I ask because I would like to runa full on DCC campaign in the "Known World" but using C&C rules.
